| 説明 | Part of the cockpit of the Wasp Has Mk 1 helicopter in the Royal Malaysian Navy museum. Detailed notes about the Wasp helicopter appeared earlier in this album. (see previous pictures). It was difficult to shoot the cockpit of the Wasp Has Mk 1 helicopter as thanks to the pedestal, the aircraft was a little higher than shoulder lever- for my height at least. I had to raise my iPhone with my hands and shoot blindly into the cockpit. The Wasp came into service with the Royal Malaysian Navy quite late, compared to the other nations who procured the aircraft earlier. It joined the Royal Malaysian Navy on 8 April 1988. The Wasp had a relatively short career with the Malaysian Navy and was phased out ten years later, replaced by the Eurocopter Fennec. (Malacca/ Melaka, Malaysia, Sept. 2023) |
