| 説明 | Stadthuys Museum Pic. 12 of 14: The types of rickshaws in use in the Malacca/ Melaka of yore in the Stadthuys history and ethnography museum on the historic Dutch Square in the UNESCO World Heritage listed town of Malacca/ Melaka in Malaysia. I can only assume that each of these rickshaws each came in during a different era in the history of Malacca/ Melaka as their styles are quite different. Nearest camera is a human pulled rickshaw, followed by a richly decorated trishaw/ pedicab of the type I rode the previous day (see earlier pictures in this album). This is followed by a simple trishaw pedicab sans decorations, with a wooden rickshaw with large wooden cartwheels at the very end. There was no signage near these vehicles so I can only assume (and hope) that all that I have said so far is factually correct.
