| 説明 | My first glimpse of Malacca/ Melaka on the bus ride from Ipoh. Malacca/ Melaka has around it diverse tropical rain forest and enjoys an equatorial climate- read hot and muggy most of the time. No wonder, it's located so close to Singapore, which sits just above the equator. Situated immediately south of the Titiwangsa Mountains, the state of Malacca/ Melaka is mostly level and dotted with inselbergs (isolated rocky hills rising abruptly from a flat plain- like this one right here).
