| 説明 | Menara Taming Sari pic. 11 of 13: I am inside the gondola of the Menara Taming Sari observation tower in the UNESCO World Heritage listed town of Malacca/ Melaka in Malaysia. At it's highest point, the gondola will reach a whopping 110 mtr. Here we are looking down towards a parking lot. The practice of parking cars in the centre of the service road reminded me of my days in Abu Dhabi in the UAE. If you have a slightly bigger car, reversing out is a real pain, with cars parked right behind you. But I digress. Back to this view, I found the view from the observation pod a lot more exciting than from an airplane- for one, you don't have to peer through a tiny window through a foggy glass pane.
