| 説明 | Coronation Park/ Taman Bunga pic. 6 of 11: As with everything else, things look more exotic and pretty at night. This certainly also applies to this ex KTMB (Malaysian Railways) diesel hydraulic locomotive no. 21111 plinthed in the Coronation Park/ Taman Bunga in the historic quarter of the UNESCO World Heritage listed town of Malacca/ Melaka in Malaysia. Although this preserved locomotive is kept locked, her headlights, parking lights and (strangely) tail light are all switched on at night, making her look as though she is ready to rule the rails again! Named Named Sungai Lukut, the locomotive was built in Japan in 1965. The locomotive is sadly painted in olive green, a colour she probably never used while in active service. All earlier pictures I had seen of this plinthed locomotive showed the engine in the standard KTMB silver livery- wonder why they chose this irrelevant and unrealistic playground livery then, during repainting.
