| 説明 | Malacca/ Melaka trishaw ride pic. 6 of 8: Riding along on one of Malacca/ Melaka's garish trishaws- this time we are riding amidst traffic, mercifully only on the opposite side. I bit the bullet and took the almost mandatory ride on one of these garish Malacca/ Melaka trishaws! Although I was feeling rather uncomfortable to be pedaled around by another human being, I was told that not taking a ride in one of these means missing a major chunk of the Malacca/ Melaka experience. Oh well! The best time to ride the trishaw is during the night as you will experience the many colourful lights on the trishaws in a cooler temperature- it's very hot and muggy during the day. Add to that the cacophony of music being played on the trishaws, like the one I am on right now. Most of the trishaw guys tune it to music on their smartphones and connect it to the sound system on their vehicle. More notes about Malacca/ Melaka trishaws appear elsewhere in this album.
