| 説明 | A Ring Tailed Lemur tucks into his meal of fruit and leaves. I had taken another picture of this animal as it was surveying his meal, but decided to feature this image as it is a bit of an action shot, so to speak. There were a couple of glass enclosures close to the entrance/ exit inside the Malacca/ Melaka zoo. Ring Tailed Lemurs are endemic to Madagascar. They are one among several species of Lemur endemic to that country. With a life span of around 20 years, Ring Tailed Lemurs are basically primates and largely vegetarians.
