| 説明 | It’s not often that I come upon a fish this big. I saw the two small fish (remora) swimming on him before I actually saw him. This is a Goliath Grouper. They can grow to 800 pounds. I’m not a good estimator of weight but I guess this one was at least 400 pounds! I had my dive buddy swim up from behind just to give some perspective. I would like to meet the creature that nearly bit his fin off.They typically hang out in caves or under edges like this and smaller fish pick off parasites from their bodies. |
