I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.- 1 Corinthians 14:15 (KJV)For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.-Hebrews 4:2 (KJV)Most of us read and heard God's words in many occassions, but did not profit us, because after hearing, we didn't put it in our hearts, we didn't meditate, either put our faith in them in our daily lives.People today are so busy with many things, have all the necessities in life, good health and happy life..our Lord want us to be happy at all times.. but our Lord will be much more happier when we realized that all these blessings and abundancy comes from Him alone!! In reality, people today who are in times of sufferings, financially distressed, with major sicknesses, broken relationships, failures in many things, makes them more closer, greater faith than ever and remember God as the only hope and answer for their longings!! I remember a very nice comment from " Good Day Friend (enfin) here at flickr 2 months ago at this link :www.flickr.com/photos/titobalangue/5155183607/?reg=1&... and www.flickr.com/photos/skyhighway said :" wonderful scripture with a depth of profound truth! We have a wonderful master who knows us inside and out! And with that insurance we have hope that God sees our suffering and shares our pain. And it makes us realize that our suffering brings us closer to God. "Indeed, a wonderful enlightening comment message!!! Thank you enfin!! :DMy question is: Why do we need to wait and suffer first!! before we put our full willingness, obedience and faith to His words ? so that we will be compelled to resort to Him because only God can do miracles for us ? Why do we need to test the faithfullness of His words before believing and accepting that His words are true? I had to confessed that there are times I almost forgotten God when life is smooth sailing. But by asking God's forgiveness, he never forsakes me!! He continue to touch me, He reminds me so many times when my step is going into the wrong direction!! Thanks to the awesome verse in Psalm 119:105 " Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."Having a happy and healthy life is a blessing from the Lord!! Therefore, no other greater action we do, but to maintain ourselves nearer to God as ever!!as in this awesome hymn " Nearer, my God, to Thee !!
