| 説明 | Built in 1680 during the Ottoman period, this Roman Catholic Church was constructed for the remaining Venetian-descended inhabitants of the island, and was dedicated to St. Antonio, or Agios Antonios, of Padua. The church is a typical Cycladic-style building with a limewashed exterior, a gabled roof with an octagonal drum and dome, a courtyard wrapping the exterior of the church, and a marble and limewashed campanile on the street side of the building. The building today remains in use as a Catholic Church. |
