| 説明 | Conglomerate sarcophagus of Nectanebo II (Nakhthorheb), later re-used as a ritual bath in the Attarin Mosque at the location of the former Church of St Athanasius, twelve 'plug-holes' for this purpose have been drilled near the base: interior - decorated with figures of funerary deities, now effaced by water erosion, including the Sons of Horus and Anubis, with figures of Isis and Nephthys at the head and foot; exterior - with incised hieroglyphic texts derived from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 8th and 9th sections of the Amduat, elaborated with representations of Ra and Osiris and other attendant deities. |
