| 説明 | Impressive how some fabrics don't scream PAJAMAS until you turn them into pajamas. And then. There you are.This is a three-quarters view of the #nocturnepajamas for these chillier spring nights, although not for much longer!The Sew Liberated Nocturne Topis a size 12 with 2.5" added to length (because, tall). About ~1" of gathering fabric removed from the front, 1" from the back (by moving the pattern pieces just past the fabric fold when cutting). All raw edges enclosed via burrito method and French seams.I used Joann Fabrics light aqua double gauze and viscose in a semi-complementary blue plaid (not too matchy matchy!).Pants are a size 16 with an improvised capri length (I think the bottom lengthen/shorten line, after I added 3" to the length?). Even more excitingly, I added two buttonholes (backed with some interfacing) an inch apart on the front waistband before assembling, stitched a zigzag seam ~3/8" from the edge on the elastic, and then strung a complementary drawstring through (2" wide tri-fold bias strip, doing what it does best). |
