| 説明 | Built in 1927, this Classical Revival-style building was designed by Ronald Greene and built by L. W. Hill, replacing the former Chestnut Street Methodist Church. The building sits on a wedge-shaped parcel, with a hollow trapezoid-shaped footprint consisting of a central wing with two wings extending to the west and southwest along the adjacent streets, six-over-six double-hung windows, stone trim, quoins, a front gable parapet with a decorative cartouche, a decorative portico with engaged ionic columns at the front door, and a stone cornice. The building remains in use as an apartment building. |
