| 説明 | Built in 1938, this Art Deco-style building was constructed by James Siokos, and is named “Evrytania,” after a Greek province. The building features a limestone-clad exterior with casement windows, decorative sculptural reliefs at the top of the pilasters on the face of the parapet, the word “Evrytania” etched into the front of the parapet, and first floor bays with plate glass windows flanking recessed entrance doors. The building is a contributing structure in the Columbia Commercial Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014, and increased to its present size in 2021. |
