| 説明 | Built in 1892, this Italianate-style building is known as the Owen Block, and features a pressed metal facade with two-over-two and one-over-one windows with transoms on the second floor, a large bay with slender cast iron pillars and large plate glass windows and transoms on the first floor, a gable parapet, a bracketed and paneled cornice, and multiple pilasters. The building is a contributing structure in the New Harmony Historic District, designated as a National Historic Landmark in 1965, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1966. |
