| 説明 | The Kawasaki GPZ 1000 RX (otherwise known as the GPZ1000RX (model designation - ZX1000A)) is a motorcycle launched by Kawasaki in 1986. It was reputed to be, at the time, 'The Worlds Fastest Production Bike'. In the United States the bike was called the Ninja 1000R.By today's standards it isn't that special; but 20 years ago it was. With a claimed 125 bhp on tap from the 997cc four-cylinder, 16 valve, twin cam engine it would propel the bike to around 167 MPH although the "official" top speed was reported as 155 MPH by Kawasaki test riders.During launch tests at the Nurburgring circuit in Germany saw 10 of the bikes tested with only 3 actually making it around the track. |
