| 説明 | Euthamia graminifolia, with common names of grass-leaved goldenrod or flat-top goldenrod. An herbaceous plant native to North America. Grass-leaved goldenrod is often found in moist / wet prairies and grasslands, and is classified as a Facultative Wetland (FACW) plant in some regions of the United States. There are other similar narrow-leaved goldenrods in the Euthamia genus that can be found in the midwestern U.S., such as Euthamia caroliniana (Carolina grass-leaved goldenrod or slender goldentop) and Euthamia gymnospermoides (Great Plains goldentop). Euthamia graminifolia typically has three prominent veins on each leaf, as some of the leaves seen here, whereas the other Euthamia species noted above have only one prominent vein per leaf. The Euthamia species were formerly classified in the Solidago genus, the main goldenrod genus. Like the Solidago goldenrods, they belong to the Asteraceae family and the Asterales order.Photo taken at a stream restoration site on Donges Bay Road in Germantown, Wisconsin. Early September 2022.
