| 説明 | The rotors on the front of the Bombe mimic the rotors on the German Enigma machine. If the codebreakers at Bletchley Park knew the plaintext for part of an encrypted message, then they could "quickly" test the message against lots of possible rotor settings to find a match and find out how the German network had set their rotors for that day. |
