| 説明 | Jefferson Highway, Old Jefferson, Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. Back in the 1970s/1980s, driving I-10 west out of New Orleans to the airport or anywhere west, there were 3 major landmarks seen while passing through Metairie - the "Crash Landing" airplane (old airplane on roof of club), the "Holy Rotating Cow" (cow statue advertising a local dairy), and 3-d billboard "FIGHT THE UGLIES" for local aluminium siding company. All those Metairie landmarks of yesteryear are gone, but a version of "The Uglies" is back! |
