| 説明 | I wanted to treat myself for Christmas so I brought out this bottle I had stored in my closet for about a year: Paradox Isle of Arran from BrewDog in Fraserburgh, Scotland.Paradox Isle of Arran is a 10% abv imperial stout, aged in Isle of Arran whisky barrels. It poured a black color with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, licorice and a hint of peat. Full bodied with a smooth, oily mouthfeel. The flavor had plenty of coffee up front, balanced by a good malt sweetness, some licorice and dark chocolate. Yummy! Not much left of the smoke though, just hints. The beer had a long, bitter finish with lingering licorice and coffee notes. Very nice. This rich beer has aged really well and now feels very harmonic. An awesome winter warmer!With a beer like BrewDog Paradox Isle of Arran any Christmas is bound to be merry! |
