| 説明 | Built in 1926, this Classical Revival-style building was constructed to serve as a Masonic Lodge for Freemasons in Norwood, Ohio. The building is clad in buff wire brick with stone trim and a stone base, a two-story doric portico at the center of the front facade with doric pilasters and fluted doric columns, three wooden doors with roman lattice motif transoms, casement windows, and stone trim surrounds at the doors and windows, door bays at the ends of the front facade with decorative trim surrounds, including brackets, pediments, and dentils, stoops and stairs at the end bays with urns flanking the doors, an entablature with a cornice and architrave featuring triglyphs, and a low-slope roof enclosed by a parapet. The building remains in use as a masonic lodge. |
