| 説明 | Built in 1995, this Postmodern-style building was designed by Michael Graves and KZF Design to house the Engineering Research Center for the University of Cincinnati. The building resembles a large engine, with a barrel vault roof, tapered exhaust stacks atop square penthouses, a brick and stone exterior with punched circular, arched, and rectangular window openings, a stone base, a porch above the entrance on the eastern facade of the building, and a faux colonnade atop the roof above the building’s entrance. Inside, the building features many classrooms, laboratories, and offices with a central lobby featuring brick walls and brick arches. The building houses space for the many programs of the University of Cincinnati’s College of Engineering and Applied Science. |
