| 説明 | Built in 1979, this Modern building was designed by Glaser, Myer and Associates to serve as the main library for the University of Cincinnati, replacing Blegen Library. The building features an orthogonal massing and footprint with terraced rooflines descending from their highest at the building’s southwest quadrant to their lowest on the north and east sides of the building, roughly following the underlying topography of the site. The building features ribbon windows and a few curtain walls, with most of the exterior being clad in brick, and concrete waffle slab floor/ceilings, with an integrated parking garage beneath the building that is exposed on the building’s north side. The building serves as the main library for the university, and is home to the Academic Writing Center, as well as several study areas and book stacks. |
