| 説明 | Canon R6 Mark II focus stacking experiment part 2 : the composite image produced by the camera. Camera was set to 60 exposures with a focus offset of 4 (it doesn't indicate units, just provides a scale from 1 - 10 for offset). The camera provides the RAW and/or JPEG images for all 60 shots plus a JPEG with the focus stacked composite. As in the control shot, an exposure at f/4.0 was used for all 60 shots, starting with focus on nearest part of the subject. Light was not ideal and I was getting a little bit of glare reflected from the rear spoiler on the car. It looks like that may have confused the stacking algorithm slightly on the last few exposures. Also, if you zoom in on the right side of the engine compartment, I think I see a bit of blur there. And along the edges of the interior in the driver's side window. But overall it's very good for a completely in-camera focus stacking result. From the time I hit the shutter release until I saw the final composite image was about 4 seconds. I've noticed if I exceed 80 shots per focus stack, it starts taking several additional seconds to finish saving the images before compositing them. Maybe I need a faster memory card. The subject is a Mattel Hot Wheels Mustang Boss Hoss, ca 1970. |
