Parke Sugar Maple, Mature plant size: 20ft., Green leaf, USDA Hardiness Zone 3, Michigan Bloom Month -, In Garden Bed J2 for 6.8 YEARS (Duvall). Planted in 2016.No details available. Column form of sugar maple. Found near Hidden Lake Gardens, Tipton, MI. Purchased from Andy Duvall, Ann Arbor, MI.The Dawes Arboretum: An upright, columnar selection of deciduous tree from Ellis Parke of Hillsdale County, MI. Ultimate size unknown, probably achieving up to 50' high but only 30' wide. Summer foliage is dark green turning the species' characteristic yellow and orange in fall. Great to use as a specimen or lawn tree where width is limited.Planted in 2016, it is still quite small in 2021. Still quite narrow with irregular growth patterns.
