| 説明 | A tiny Hemiptera lives on our Eucalyptus wandoo tree in our back yard. When you approach, they often move to the other side of the leaf, except when they are feeding. The feed by sucking on the inner tissues of the gum leaf. These push their proboscis into a vein onto a leaf feeding when they sit ignoring the camera. Last week there were two of these little insects on different leaves, one was darker than the other. The lighter one seemed to be happy to have me around and after running to the other side of the leaf a couple of times, jumped to the edge of the leaf looking at me. Photo: Fred and Jean |
