| 説明 | Built around the turn of the 20th Century, this Queen Anne-style building features a limestone-clad front facade and brick side and rear facades, a two-story oriel window on the front facade with decorative spandrel panels and arched panels with sunburst motifs, a cornice with a sculpture, modillions, and festoons, a first floor retail shopfront with fluted ionic pilasters and decorative reliefs, and a low-slope roof enclosed by a parapet. The building is demonstrative of aesthetic trends along Chicago’s major neighborhood commercial thoroughfares around the turn of the 20th Century. |
