| 説明 | Built in the late 19th Century, these Queen Anne and Classical Revival-style buildings represent excellent examples of the styles, which were popular at the time in Chicago, and remain in quite abundant numbers today. The corner building is a “Free Classic”-variant Queen Anne-style building with a red brick exterior, rusticated stone piers at the base, stone lintels and sills a bracketed cornice, broken pediments, window hoods with pediments and festooned panels, a two-story oriel window, and an octagonal corner turret, and one-over-one windows. The other building is fronted with limestone and features tripartite windows, corinthian pilasters, an entablature with dentils, a blind balustrade on the front of the parapet, and a first floor storefront with stone piers and cast iron pilasters. |
