| 説明 | Built in 1917 to house the Citizens Motorcar Company, a Packard car dealership, this building was a Packard automobile showroom and service center until the late 1930s, whereupon it closed. In 1992, the old Packard dealership was restored and reopened as America's Packard Museum, which has a large collection of historic Packard automobiles from the 1910s through the 1950s, and has had the first floor and most of the exterior facade restored to their original appearance. Today, the museum is housed in two adjacent connected buildings, with the old Packard dealership housing the older cars in the collection, and the smaller, newer building housing the newer cars and the museum's reference library. |
