| 説明 | The covered alley of Mougau (La Caverne in Breton) is a magnificent dolmen located in inland Brittany at the foot of the Monts d'Arrée; it has retained almost all of its cover tables, and a number of engravings and bas-reliefs can still be seen inside the chamber today. The stone structure consists of 24 megaliths and is 14 m long.By comparison with other dolmens of the same type, this monument would have essentially had a funerary and / or religious function, and would date from the final Neolithic, around -3000 BC. |
