| 説明 | Built in 1896, this Italianate-style building is known as the Jones Block. The building is clad in brown brick with a bracketed cornice featuring dentils and arched panels with sunburst motifs, a gabled parapet with the words “Jones Block” emblazoned on it, large second-story window bays with rusticated stone lintels and stone sills, one-over-one windows, and transoms, contrasting darker brick accents, and two retail shopfronts, which have been modified, with recessed entrances. The building is a contributing structure in the Columbus Downtown Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992. |
