説明 | We are usually easy to find at the beach. We will be the only group with our tables and lanterns set up. The first batch of Cioppino is scheduled for 7pm but come anytime after 3 pm and help with greetings and setup As always, the party is on even if the forecast is for rain (we have awnings). If we have a major storm forecast we will send out another email to cancel.Bring seafood to " chip in" to the Cioppino (a traditional San Francisco fisherman's stew!). Typical ingredients would be (skinless) fish fillet (halibut, salmon, cod, sea bass), clams, mussels, crab, prawns, shrimp or scallops. Bring your own mug for drinks. We provide the Cioppino base, oysters, rolls, Dennis' homebrew including Root Beer and Cider. Also hot chocolate, hot coffee and mulled cider. This year Ian did the cioppino broth instead of Cathy. Mark handled hot links for his 10th year. James barbequed the oysters and the maestro and drink master was inimitable Dennis Collins. Collins Brothers Woodworking Inc. did a lot of preparation and takedown. It has been 37 years since the first Collins Beach Bonfire but Covid-19 canceled the 2020 & 2021 eventsThis last year the Collins Clan got together for Thanksgiving in La Honda courtesy of Charliewww.flickr.com/gp/aforum/088HC650d7and a wedding in Paradise Kody Atkins AND Avery Barcheski took place at 3440 Durham-Pentz Road [Oroville actually,www.flickr.com/gp/aforum/542c6bT01C |
