| 説明 | Yesterday we visited St Bartholomew's church, today our mini Easter trail took us to St John the Baptist's in France Lynch - another set up at the instigation of Thomas Keble, vicar of Bisley. Built around the same time as the other, but completely different inside and out. This one has neither spire nor tower, and inside is has fine stone carvings, pretty tiles, and really unusual inlaid stonework: lapis luzuli and malachite on white marble |
