| 説明 | Built in 1874 as an Italianate-style house designed by David R. Jones for James E. Moseley, and his wife, Flora Moseley, this house was renovated in the Colonial Revival style by Frank Riley in 1926 to become the Delta Delta Delta Sorority House. The house is clad in painted brick with a low-slope roof enclosed by a parapet, a decorative cornice, six-over-one, nine-over-one, and nine-over-nine replacement vinyl windows, an extended central bay on the front facade with quoins, a front door with sidelights and a fanlight transom, a portico with ionic columns, a cornice with dentils, and an iron rooftop balustrade, an uncovered front terrace, and faux blind balustrade panels on the parapet. The house is a contributing structure in the Langdon Street Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. |
