| 説明 | THE YALE COLUMBIA TELESCOPEBuilt in 1923-24 for the Yale Observatory, the telescope was originally located in Johannesburg, South Africa. Columbia University joined the research program in 1943. The telescope commenced operation at Mount Stromlo in 1955. The Universities donated the telescope to the Observatory in 1963.
