She talked about patents that could be used to build personal profiles on people wearing RFID tags. Too bad these patents are "dreamy" and not feasible for a number of reasons. Databases between retailers, credit cards and whomever has the reader are not linked, the read rate is inches instead of her suggested "feet" are just a couple of reasons why this scenario won't work. Thier sci-fi paranoid example of radio frequency electronic product codes being evil just won't happen. |
