| 説明 | Built in 1937, this Art Deco-style building was built to house the Buffalo Police Headquarters, which had previously been housed in a victorian-era building nearby. The cream brick building features a low-slope roof enclosed by a parapet, limestone and green stone trim, including sills, a stone base, decorative window and door surrounds at the entrance bays, and a stone cap on the parapet, plasters, replacement windows, decorative sconces flanking the entrances, and a light court in the middle of the building. The Buffalo Police have since moved to a new headquarters on Court Street at Niagara Square, vacating this building, and the building has been adaptively reused as an apartment building known as the Police Apartments. |
