Name and US Navy Aviation Search & Rescue patch sawn in on the left breast side. NAS Patuxen River Search and Rescue velcro patch is attached on the right breast side. Naval Helicopter Association velcro patch is attached on the right forearm. US flag patch on the left forearm is missing. According to the Gibson & Barnes website fabric is "plain weave poplin, lightweight but durable with 4.5 ounce Nomex IIIA. DuPont Nomex does not melt, drip or support combustion. Flame resistance can not be washed out or worn away. Breathable for reduced heat stress. Wicks away moisture.
