| 説明 | A beautifully sculpted image of the Hindu elephant headed god Ganesh in one of the caves at Ellora. I have visited the caves several times around 1983, when I used to live in Aurangabad near here, but I do not seem to recall ever having seen this Ganesh image. This cave was once used as a Hindu temple. Detailed notes about the Ellora caves appear elsewhere in this album. (see previous and subsequent pictures later in this album).
