| 説明 | A close view of the sanctum of the Eknath Samadhi temple in Paithan, near Aurangabad, Maharashtra. There was a lady in front of the sanctum- don't think she was the priest in attendance- no wonder she did not- nor did anyone else for that matter- object when I shot this picture. Of course, I was using only my iPhone 13 Pro Max and not my large Nikon, This shrine is located at Paithan on the banks of the Godavari river. Celebrations commemorating Eknath are held every year around the month of March at Paithan. Notes about Saint Eknath appear elsewhere in this album. (see previous pictures).
