| 説明 | Carlisle Cathedral interior, showing much of the ceiling over the nave. This site was started in 1122 as an Augustinian Priory, becoming a cathedral in 1133. It is the second smallest English cathedral and one of four to have been started by the Augustinians, most others being of Benedictine origin.
