説明 | Picea glauca 'Pendula' 22W50 White Spruce J1- (France 1860s) Weeping White Spruce, Size at 10 years: 10x3ft., Blue green needles with a whitish bloom and 1 to 2 in. cones., USDA Hardiness Zone 2, Michigan Bloom Month -, In Garden Bed J1 for 13.3 YEARS (TC). Planted in 2009.American Conifer Society: This cultivar originated as a spontaneous weeping mutation found in the 1860s in Trianon Park, Versailles, France. French botanist, Élie-Abel Carrière formally described it in botanical literature in 1867 in Traité Général des Conifères. In the Latin language "pendula" translates into "weeping or pendulous."Discovered in Versailles, France in 1867. Iseli Nursery in Boring, Oregon introduced this cultivar. Mature needles of this tree become glaucous (waxy white bloom) with age.Just a couple inches shy of 8 feet after ~10year.Photo by F.D.Richards, SE Michigan.
