| 説明 | Scirpus cyperinus (a sedge commonly known as woolgrass) at a stream restoration project in Germantown, Wisconsin. Another common name is cottongrass bulrush. It has a terminal cluster of nodding, umbrella-like spikelet flowers. The location is south of Donges Bay Road and east of Fond du Lac Avenue. Late July 2018. Woolgrass is in the Scirpus genus (commonly known as the bulrushes or clubrushes, though there are other plants also called bulrush), in the Cyperaceae (sedge) family and the Poales order. |
