| 説明 | Rich B leading the first pitch of the classic 'Dream of White Horses' at Gogarth back in November 1987. This was taken with an Olympus XA-2 and is scanned from a slide, which never helps quality; and it was a dull day too. No matter; the quality of the climbing more than made up for it. As it was high tide we scrambled down a gully to the start point at a niche in the gully side; as the gully was grassy, and the end couldn't be seen, this was the most un-nerving part of the day. The climb itself, all balance and improbable positions, looks impossible when viewed from the opposite headland and even when you're on it you make the moves you can see in the expectation that more will turn up when you get closer to them because you can't quite see them from where you are just now.If memory serves, that was the only climb we did that day. We had the cliff to ourselves save for some canoeists below at one point.
