| 説明 | I started and ended bike part of trip at Kendall. Started at fire station bus stop. When I was headed back home, it was a few hours to wait for the bus and I wasn't sure where the Bellingham bound stop would be so I decided to get on at the fire station again. That met instead of waiting almost another half hour for the bus on it's way back to Bellingham, I rode the bus as it made it's rounds in the Paradise and Columbia Valley areas. It worked fine, they didn't mind. I got to see, from the bus windows, those neighborhoods. More interesting than sitting at the stop.I discovered the bus is air conditioned and it would have been a hot day waiting at the stop. Some of the homes on that loop are kind of trashy while others look okay. It tends to be a rural, low income area often noted for drug dealing and so forth.The bus came back to Kendall where I discovered that the Bellingham bound stop is at the School. Glad I got on at the fire station as I probably would have been waiting at the convenience store instead of the school. When I got to Kendall, I thought about exploring around the school, but there were kids in the parking lot. Folks could be paranoid about strangers in a school lot. As I remember, there was no sidewalk along the street so I doubt I would have discovered the bus stop without wandering through the school parking lot. It was a good trip through Paradise, which isn't really Paradise and Columbia Valley. I'd never been in those neighborhoods before. Then the bus came back to Kendall on it's way back to Bellingham.I'm back home from another little trip. |
