| 説明 | Crossing Mulwala Bridge which spans the Murray River and divides NSW and Victoria. We spent the night at Club Mulwala - our last sleep in a real bed and our last real shower before the riding began. The 2010 UIM World GP Hydroplane Championships were on 26-28 November so as we trekked across the bridge there was a boat caning it on our right. It was very loud and somewhat intimidating as I recalled news footage of such boats exploding typically involved pieces flying many meters and this boat was charging right for us before doing a sharp U turn."The dip in the southern end of the bridge, a feature much discussed by our visitors, was the result of poor communication between Victoria and NSW Governments. Construction of each end began independently and at different levels and the bridge had to be redesigned to smooth out the difference, resulting in the dip!" -- The Yarrawonga Mulwala Story |
