| 説明 | Wayne Pigment, at 300 South Barclay in Milwaukee's Walkers Point / Harbor View area. The Union Pacific's Marsh Job served this rail siding with a spur that crossed Florida Street and then entered the complex via a chain-link gate. On the day of these photos, a Railbox boxcar (RBOX 32598) was spotted there.Photo taken January 2013, looking north from Florida Street. Since then, Wayne Pigment have moved their operations to Oak Creek, and I think the siding has been removed. The building on the left is a nice example of a classic reinforced concrete frame with masonry infill, common in early 20th century industrial / warehouse buildings. |
