| 説明 | Ah, the sparrows. They get so little attention, but they're everywhere. And I do mean everywhere, all over the world.We don't have a lot of eagles, hawks and other 'glamorous' birds in these parts, so I photograph the sparrows.Chairman Mao tried to wipe out the sparrows during his ill-fated Cultural Revolution. That would be a funny story if it weren't so tragic, for the sparrows and especially for the Chinese.Sparrows are mentioned seven times in the Bible. For example, Matthew 10:29-30 (NIV): 'Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.' Photography has given me a better appreciation for the things I see so often i didn't even see them any more. |
