| 説明 | Built in 1906, this Richardsonian Romanesque and Beaux Arts-style building was designed by H. L. Kerr. The building features a rusticated bluestone exterior, arched triple windows on the fourth floor, a bracketed cornice at the original parapet above the fourth floor, one-over-one double-hung windows, a cornice at the top of the second floor, an arched window above the entrance to the upper levels on the second floor, retail spaces on the ground floor, simple pilasters, and a fifth floor clad in stucco with Classical Revival-style detailing, which was added in 1914 to house the Commercial Club. The building is a contributing structure in the Chinatown Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. |
