説明 | In front of the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño in Cebu, old women selling candles can be seen swaying and dancing while holding aloft a handful of candles they will often ask you to buy candles for a price of 1 Philippine peso ($0.02 US) and after purchasing they will light the candles for you and dance the "Sinulog" while holding your lit candles in honor of the Santo Niño, Called "sinulog",after the visayan word "Suug" meaning water current. The "sinulog" is danced while prayers are being said to seek favor of the Santo Niño. The dance has given the name to the popular festivity of the Santo Niño celbrated on the third Sunday of January. During this day, dancing spills out to the streets while devotees shout "Pit, Señor!".Location:Basilica Minore del Santo Niño, Cebu, PhilippinesCamera: Canon Eos 350DShutter Speed: 1/50 secExposure Mode: ManualAperture Value: F5.6ISO: 100Focal Length: 210.0mm |
